Brief description of the project

In”MICROTOPOGRAPHY” research and development center  of Magnitogorsk State technical university named after G.I. Nossov modern equipment is developed: automated complex for surface microtopgraphy measurement (AKIMPT), automated complex for measurement of scattered radiation idicatrixes, portable blocks for surface microtopography measurement in conditions of production,  portable block for registration of vibrations (1 - 1000Hz) in different equipment and works. Different kinds of optical equipment is also developed, such as rolling and tearing mill with kit of rollers of different diameters with registering of pressure, front and rear expansion with expansion diagram displayed on the computer and so on

Contactless reflectometers for measuring surface finish parameters are also set forth in a patent level. Production of these devices is organised.

Purpose

More than 30 burning operational parameters depend on the surface microtopography (friction and wear, possibility to be stamped, coating adhesion, mechanical, electrical, magnetic and radiation properties etc.). Creation of restricted surface microtopography makes it possible to get considerable saving rates by subsequent revisions and operation of these ptroducts.

Motor-car and  machine-building industries.

Volume of effective demand

The saving rate expected in metallurgical and machine-building enterprises in 2006 is 800 000 roubles.
