Chelybinsk is the capital of the Chelyabinsk region. It is situated 1919 km away from Moscow. Its population reaches 1105, 6 thousand people.

Other big cities of the region are Magnitogorsk – 427,7 thousand people; Zlatoust – 196, 5 thousand people; Miass – 177, 2 thousand people.
