Annotation |
By construction of dwelling houses and public buildings the trend is presently become apparent to use framework variants. Construction practice shows that buildings with framework scheme and non-bearing outer walls made of light materials are distinguished not only by lower cist price but also look more expressive than bearing-wall many-storied buildings as far as architecture is concerned. The use of tubeconcrete columns of the offered constructions instead of steel ones makes it possible to decrease steel consumption by not less than 50 per cent as well as to cut cost of such columns by 35-40 per cent Exchange of heavy loaded reinforced concrete columns for the tubeconcrete ones allows to shorten steel consumption by 10-25 per cent, decrease concrete consumption by 30-50 per cent as well as their cost reduction by 20-25 per cent. |
Purpose |
Tubeconcrete construction with preliminary pressed out kernels are the most effective as compact with minor and accidental eccentricity of elements such as columns, compressed elements, piles, viaduct and bridge footings. They are estimated at their true worth and widely used mostly as heavy loadedcolumns of skyscrapers and also as footings of multiple-span bridge in many countries of the world and first of all in Japan, USA, China as well as in some European countries. |
