The Waste Generation and Disposal Limits Projects (WGDLP)

The Waste Generation and Disposal Limits Projects are established with the purposes of support of protection of environmental natural environment and health of the people, reduction of the amount of waste with reference to the individual businessmen and legal persons at whose enterprises the waste is formed (irrespective of their amount).

The waste generation and disposal limits are established on the basis of the Waste Generation and Disposal Limits Projects (WGDLP).

The project of the WGDLP specifications comprises the complete information about the waste formed at an enterprise (organization), with classification of it by a degree of hazard, type and reactionary ability.

The developed project of the WGDLP specifications is presented for approbation to territorial bodies of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision.

The rules of development and approbation of the specifications of the waste generation and disposal limits have been determined by the Decision of Government of Russian Federation dated 16.07.2000 No. 461. 

After the project approbation you receive the license for waste disposal and on the basis of that document a calculation is done of scheduled payments to ecological foundations, and at that a 5-multiple raising factor is not applied to you.

Besides it is necessary to know that the absence of the WGDLP project implies an imposition of an administrative penalty on the enterprise’s manager according to the Russian Federation Code of administrative offences (No. 195 ФЗ -2001).
