Brief description of the project

We offer technology for manufacturing of diverse purpose products from structurally heterogeneous metals of different class and chemical composition by method of cold plastic deformation of porous billets on the basis of which there was developed and tested technological processes of making products as follows: porous metal friction bearings based on iron or copper with strengthened surface purposely formed by calibration of porous billets. We also offer projection method of deforming tools, wear resistant machine elements from composite materials based on carbon steel strengthened with carbides of refractory metals (chromium, titanium, tungsten ant others);copper-tungsten piercing electrodes – tools for spark erosion machining of carbide metal cutting tools without liquid phase sintering. The developed technology makes it possible to manufacture products for different macnine-building branches without high-temperature heating which contributes to preserving phase and structural composition as well as unique properties of source metal powders
